When asked during a podcast interview with FLAGRANT on YouTube “Who’s your ideal match for Taylor”, The Barstool President replied, “I don’t even know if I would see her dating, and it doesn’t mean it’s right, like I see her more like a Daniel Jones guy if we’re going in the NFL”. This response got an uproar from the hosts, who ended up debating why Kelce was better than Jones, also saying “Kelce has two rings”.

However, Portnoy fought back and explained why Jones was an ideal choice, saying, “I’m just saying their personalities to me are closer” to which Akaash Singh , of the hosts, said “If the Pro Bowl is happening and Daniel Jones wants to go, he has to buy a ticket,” to which Portnoy called them “disrespectful” and said that to him it wasn’t about the success of Jones and Kelce but rather their personalities, and he said he needed to give more thought to who he would pick for the “Shake it Off” star to date, saying, “Maybe I’ll get back to you later in the show”.

Later, as the podcast progressed, Dave also wasted no time in sharing his candid thoughts about Kelce. He called him a “doofus” and proceeded to express his disapproval of Kelce’s style, calling it “cringy”. Dave also said he would also consider Jake Gyllenhaal, whom Taylor Swift dated 13 years ago, as an ideal match for her.

This also wasn’t Dave Portnoy’s first comment on Swift and Kelce. Just days ago, the rumored romance became the talk of the town; the couple were even seen driving around Kansas City in Kelce’s sleek black vintage convertible, further fueling the speculation. Dave Portnoy, however, wasn’t entirely convinced. He shared a picture of the couple in the car, writing, “I feel like we’re getting trolled with the convertible.”
