“Dumb Coaching. They Suck”: Dallas Cowboys Under Fire After ‘Furious’ Dave Portnoy Drops Twitter Rant Amidst Losing Bet

Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys appeared in Superman mode just a week ago against the Philadelphia Eagles. The NFL match, played in the AT&T stadium, beheld the burly quarterback, running and throwing as if there were no tomorrow. In one attempt, Prescott’s throw sailed over 217 yards, facing no deception. The mammoth performance quenched the eyes of the Dallas Cowboys fans. Even after that, Prescott eyed for a better service. However, this Sunday, Prescott found himself and his team in a precarious situation. 

Even the Cowboys’ big votary, Dave Portnoy, couldn’t believe the Sunday happenings regarding his opted NFL favorite. He took to the X to express his displeasure on the pernicious outings the Dallas Cowboys received after facing the Buffalo Bills.

The expectation molded on the Cowboys grew stronger after it qualified for the playoff berth just minutes before the game against the Bills. But the Orchard Park- NFL game turned out to be a one-sided affair with a scoreline of 31-10 for the Bills. A fumed Dave Portnoy wrote in the post, “I was so confident the Bills would beat the Cowboys I switched my bet to Dallas only to watch the same old Cowboys. Dak sucks. Stupid Penalties. Dumb coaching. They suck. Kick them outta the league.”

The man of the moment, Dak Prescott, also faced loathing from Dave Portnoy for his lackluster approach and not doing what he does best. However, being the ‘Dak’, he shrugged off when asked about his pre-knowledge on clinching the playoff spot. “Didn’t pay attention to that. Don’t care, to be honest,” was his best counter. However, several other aftermath factors also made Dave Portnoy go berserk on the Dallas Cowboys. 

The road ahead for the Cowboys

The unexpected loss to the Bills stood the Cowboys in a way where they would have to win all their matches in the playoffs. The previous losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles complicated the scene. Now, to make it on the podium, the Cowboys would need the Eagles to overpower the Seahawks.
