Taylor Swift, a 12-time Grammy winner, was seen this past weekend at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to cheer for her alleged boyfriend Travis Kelce. After that, an episode from the ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast on Barstool Sports outraged Swifties and sports fans as host Dan Katz proposed “demands” from Swift. Now, the founding father of Barstool, Dave Portnoy stepped up to clean the mess sharing a screenshot of his chat with a fellow firm senior on Twitter (X). He captioned it, “Can’t say I didn’t try to help.”

The shot shared by Dave showed Kelly Keegs, a Barstool NY podcaster taking a firm stand in talks with him. She said, “There’s no coming back from this.” To which the company owner said, “Ok. Fine. He’s dead to me forever.” Let’s rewind a bit. Taylor was spotted during Travis’ Chiefs vs. Jets match which was twice in a row upsetting some NFL fans.
Dan Katz and co-host Eric Sollenberger weren’t too thrilled either and publically discussed what sexual act they wished the couple did to “prove” their relationship. Katz even took to Twitter(X) and wrote, ?If Taylor Swift is going to be taking over our Sunday?s I?m going to need to see a s*x tape. These are my demands.?? Looking at the Pardon My Take podcast stats, it garners over 750k- 1.5M listeners every episode. Taylor Swift’s army attacked Dan Katz fover remarks about the rumored pair. Notably, Katz shared the posts with over 1.6 million followers on X and also added, “Until then I think it?s fake, I think it?s for clicks.”?He claimed that the pop singer is capitalizing on NFL appearance popularity although more Travis? jerseys are selling since the word spread.
The uproar doesn’t seem to fade for Portnoy since Katz proceeded to label the criticism as a “joke.” Further supporting his statements when someone in the comments asked if it was “strange to say.” He simply said, “No.”

“Hopefully [my daughter] has a sense of humor and understands when I’m clearly making a joke,” he replied when moral police Swifties asked him to consider the mother and daughter in his family.
