NCAA’s investigation taking too long

After the rapid suspension of the staffer involved, the investigation seems to have been running at a crawling speed. Michigan University is fully cooperating with all the compliance of the scrutiny. Making the first move, Michigan earlier self-imposed a three-game suspension for Harbaugh. The NCAA’s committee on infractions rejected a potential negotiated resolution for Harbaugh.

With the college football future looming large, it’s unlikely that this case will be finalized before the start of the 2024 season. It’s even uncertain for Harbaugh’s future at the university team, as he has been suspended for three games. It indicates that being a remarkable competitor in the top-tier academic football issue comes with its fair share of carpers, especially when an accusation is at play.

However, it is still hazy with a normal eye to believe in the situations unfolding. The allegation is against a team carrying a football legacy with 11 national championships, 44 conference titles, and an avid firm nurturing NFL draft picks and Heisman Trophy winners; Michigan’s presumed association with such infringement seems unexpected.
