The Michigan Wolverines are fighting battles on multiple fronts. While the Wolverines are still dominating the Big Ten Conference, the latest legal drama is sending shockwaves across the nation. Jim Harbaugh‘s suspension in the wake of in-person scouting scandal is being contested by Michigan vehemently and Dave Portnoy has also entered the arena to stand behind his alma mater. Days back, Dave posited that the conference wouldn’t be the same if the Wolverines decided to leave.

Now, Portnoy took another jab at Michigan’s rivals in the Big Ten. The Barstool Sports owner had some sneer advice to impart that he believes would help the other teams match Michigan’s record 44 wins in the Big Ten.

The Michigan Wolverines are dominating the Big Ten conference. That’s something that football fans have come to accept as an everlasting truth over the years. The Wolverines have the highest number of Big Ten titles, and others can only dream of achieving the same.

Now, as the legal drama between the NCAA and the Wolverines rages on over the sign-stealing controversy, Portnoy thinks the rivals should focus on their own programs.

A proud Michigan alum, Portnoy would defend his roots to the last breath. Naturally, the ongoing controversies are only making him take up more arms. In his latest post, Portnoy slammed the Big Ten rivals saying “I swear to god if the rest of the Big 10…spent as much time worrying about themselves as they did worrying about what Michigan is doing maybe they’d go undefeated and win the Big 10 every year like Michigan does“.

Obviously, Portnoy had to remind everyone what Michigan stands for and the prolific pigskin tradition it’s steeped in. With the Wolverines recently conquering Penn State despite having their head coach suspended, Portnoy’s disparaging smile would only get bigger.
