In life’s grand theatre, we play the actor and the audience. Yet, if we fail to play our part well, the stage will soon be empty, and the seats will be vacant. For in this relentless pursuit of growth and self-improvement, those who stand still are often left behind or parted ways with.

And this applies to every walk of like, considering speculations of the Dallas Cowboys‘ having had enough of Dak Prescott‘s declining performance and getting caught by injuries one after the other. There is a high chance of him being left out if things go the same in the succession. Shannon Sharpe, the outspoken critic, puts light on Dak Prescott’s recent ordeal.

Shannon Sharpe, a former NFL player and current sports analyst, has been vocal about his views on the Cowboys’ performance. Taking his no-mercy route, on First Take, he said, “The inconsistency of Dak, because you look at him in the big game when you need him the most he comes up the smallest. And at some point in time, we’re going to have to put the blame on his feet and say, okay, you know what we’re paying you X amount of dollar you’re supposed to perform.”

Dak’s declining performance has vouched for the past few years. It declined over the past eight seasons if taken close account. Despite being facilitated with his preferred tiers throughout, his staging has yet to see an incline. “You told us you wanted these tiers. They have tier one, tier two, and tier three, and they keep saying that they keep telling me Dak is a borderline tier,” getting agitated with the tier shuffle, Shannon added.

Will the old charm be back?

Eight years back, Dak Prescott has been signed with high hopes. He shined brightly in the first three years after he arrived at the Cowboys, belittle to mention that he got selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft by the team. He came in as a backup in his rookie season. However, after Tony Romo was injured, he started as the quarterback for the Cowboys.

As things might seem slowly receding for the outcaste star now, not to forget when he topped the records and got himself the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2016. As he heads towards his 30th year, and injuries knock on the door, he has to bring back the earlier charm before the Cowboys start looking for a long-term solution considering him a running threat.
