Portnoy Ignores a Valid “Technicality”

But on Sunday, at the Chiefs vs the Jets match, all eyes were on Taylor Swift. Post-match, Kelce was seen giving a thrilling response to how he feels. Replying to the reporter, Kelce said, “Yeah, as all the attention comes, it feels like you know I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl. And, right now, even more on top of the world, so it’s fun.” However, fans pointed something out about his response.

Kelce’s comment garnered many reactions. One of the fans wrote, “He didn’t reference Taylor Swift in particular as the reason for feeling “on top of the world”, but instead referred to the “attention”. Cringey.” Known for tweeting about Swift and Kelce, Portnoy responded to the fan, saying, “I choose to ignore this valid technicality,” hinting upon Kelce and Swift’s “Love Story“. But this is not the first time Portnoy has laid some technicalities about Taylor Swift. Being more vocal than ever before by sharing tweets and going on talk shows and podcasts, Portnoy’s views have garnered a lot of attention. Recently, he even put TS bestie Blake Lively on blast.

Both personalities were seen at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday, October 2. As Taylor Swift was cheering for Travis Kelce, Lively was there to watch the cute moment. However, Dave Portnoy had something to share about Lively’s presence. Taking to his Twitter account, Portnoy wrote, “Blake Lively out here cheering for the Chiefs like she grew up in Overland Park, Missouri.” His tweet immediately blew up.

But this time, fans corrected him for his poor geography knowledge. Some of them pointed out his mistake. One fan wrote, “Sir… maybe learn geography first!!” As one notices, Portnoy made a mistake in thinking that Overland Park is situated in Missouri and not in Kansas. Geography or not, Portnoy’s tweets have garnered a lot of reactions from Swift’s fans, who are always ready to defend her with all their might!
