The day was October 14 when the Colorado fans were shocked to see their favorite team lose in the most unpredictable game ever. It was at the Folsom Field when Deion Sanders? Colorado Buffaloes lost to Stanford Cardinal with a 46-43 score. But it wasn?t your regular loss and Stephen A. Smith, host of ESPN?s First Take, had some versatile takes about the Colorado players.
The Colorado Buffaloes were leading by 29 points in the first half. Only to lose with a 43-46 in two overtime after blowing the advantage. With this, Smith had something to say about the ?unacceptable? defeat. Even his love for Deion Sanders did not stop him from reminding his son, Shedeur Sanders, what he needed to do. Amidst the loss, Smith is urging the Buffaloes to ?Show up! Stand up!? Especially after they got their ?a** kicked!?

The impact of Deion Sanders goes beyond his work as a football coach. The so-called ?prime time? is a former MLB outfielder, NFL cornerback, and two-time Super Bowl champion. His team, Colorado Buffaloes, was set to win on Sunday. But the strong comeback from Stanford Cardinal crushed all his ambitions. With such a shocking defeat, Smith was ready to give his take. A clip from his show was shared on Twitter. Smith said, ?It?s an absolute disgrace. Unacceptable. The fact of the matter is Colorado came into this game?um 13 13-point favorites, ok? And got outscored by a 13-point underdog 46-14 in the second half after being up 29 to nothing?? But that was not all.

Smith also gave his take on the team and Shedeur Sanders. While he was all praises for Deion, he had some harsh advice for the team. ?I believe that Deion Sanders is a coach. I think he?s a hell of a coach? But here?s the problem: the players got caught up in the shine, their coach generated.? He also said, ??Y?all are getting your ass kicked. Show up, stand up? and I?m calling out his son, Shedeur Sanders, who I love and I think has ?star? written all over him.?
Smith called Shedeur out for something he might?ve done during the game. ?whether it was you or by accident, it was somebody on your social media team. You cannot have something being posted at halftime of a damn game!? If you think that was all, you have gotten it wrong. Smith also made a bold comparison, one which screamed, ?Y?all ain?t on that level!?

There is no denying the fact that the Colorado Buffaloes are a strong team. With Deion Sanders as their coach, the team has achieved major victories. However, Smith wanted to remind the players about some important things. In the video shared, he also said, ??to the players on that squad, your coach, as much bravado as he had, as much swag as he had, he was the best on the planet! Drawing reference from Sanders, Smith said, “y?all ain?t on that level! Stop acting like it! And show up on the damn field… instead of getting your a** kicked on national television. Somebody gotta say it!” That being said, Smith?s message resonates loud and clear. To win over Stephen, the Colorado Buffaloes will need to put in more effort.
