Home/NFL

Host of ESPN’s show, ‘First Take,’ Stephen A. Smith makes sure to entertain his fans with his terrific takes on NFL. But recently, it’s his looks that are getting more attention than his takes. Smith recently appeared on CBS’ talk show, where he was crowned “most dashing man.” It turns out Smith was there to promote his memoir, ‘Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes.’ With this in mind, the New York Times Best Seller is searching for an actor to play him in a potential biopic based on his memoir.

Known for his hilarious responses and versatile takes, Smith surely has a dynamic personality—one that can’t be matched. Casting someone who matches that energy could be daunting. However, it appears Smith may have a specific person in mind. With stars like Michael B. Jordan who played in the sports drama film, Creed, in the line, Smith thinks only one person can do the job. The famous American actor, Omari Hardwick, has that “swag” and “power.”

On October 17, Smith appeared on the CBS award-winning talk show, ‘THE TALK.’ He touched on various subjects. Smith opened up about the love he has for his mother and her contribution to his personality. Knowing his playful personality, he made sure to give a hilarious take on the Kelce-Swift’s potential romance. But that was not all. As the show neared its end, the host called him the ‘most dashing man ever!’ Sharing a wholesome moment, they talked about the possible cast for his biopic. The clip shared by Smith on Twitter reflects all the conversations that took place.

Smith captioned the video, “Thanks for having me @TheTalkCBS!!” Sheryl Underwood, who is one of the hosts, asked Smith, “I hear them making a book into a movie. Who do you want to play you?” It seemed like an easy question for Smith, who joked, “Damn! I would say Omari Hardwick, but he looks so much better than me. I might need somebody slightly less attractive…” But the host had someone else in mind.

Sheryl said, “Omari is good, but I was thinking Michael B. Jordan. He had a swag.” Smith, weighing options, said, “He got swag, but it’s a different kind of swag than Omari Hardwick. Omari Hardwick, he’s synonymous with power and the swag that he had as James St. Patrick’s “Ghost.” I mean, you can’t beat that.” But that was not all. Sheryl Underwood also had a perfect answer! It looks like Jordan and Hardwick both have a tougher competition to face.
