As the NBA host of the ESPN community, Stephen A. Smith has carved a niche for himself in the commentary world. His podcast, ‘The Stephen A. Smith Show’, is a versatile platform that cross-cuts sports with pop culture news. As the recent episode aired, Stephen took to analyzing the Jada-will separation news. This time, he has sided with the famous actor.

Talking about the interview that Jada did, Smith said, “It doesn’t matter what you say, there’s nothing, there’s nothing you can say to a man to justify what you have done to Will Smith, nothing. Now Will will come to your defense, as he should. He’s your husband, and he loves you dearly…” However, he was quick to add, “It’s not for me to judge anything about y’all life, y’all private life.” Stephen also shared his thoughts on the potential effects of the separation announcement being made public.

“You cannot emasculate your man and think things are going to work out. Not only are they not going to work out with him, but if you do it publicly, it’s going to send a message to every man: that’s what she would do to me. Why would you do that… You want to break up with your husband and all of this stuff that’s your business, but this public emasculation needs to stop,” he said. That being said, this is not the first time Stephen has talked about the Jada-Will news.
