On October 6, Drake released his much-awaited album, ‘For All The Dogs.’ It soon made the headlines and was even trending in the first week. Smith made sure to talk about it on his podcast. The Stephen A. Smith show, as the podcast is called, was all about Drake’s new album and his feud with a retired rapper. But Smith had something more to add. This time, the host chimed about all that Drake has earned.

Praising Drake, Smith said, “You can’t fault Drake for doing what Drake’s doing. Cuz I’ll be there, I ain’t going to sit up here and lie to you and act like I didn’t wish I didn’t own… a 767. Oh, hell yes, I wish I did!” Adding to it, Smith honestly said, “Let me be the first to say it. I’m not one for the perks. Believe It or Not ladies and gentlemen, I don’t want stuff for free… but if there’s…perks that I love more than anything in this world… I absolutely positively despise standing in line for anything..”

Smith made the comment with regard to Drake’s long response to Joe Buddens’ criticism. Drake was seen writing, “If you need it put in simpler terms, I own a 767… he owns a modest house in the 973 and flies first class on special occasions.” But that was not all. As the drama unfolds, both the rappers have a lot to say.

Budden proposed that instead of appealing to a younger audience, Drake ought to be rapping about more adult subjects, considering his age. He said, “I want to hear adult Drake rapping for adult people. … He’s rapping for the kids.” As the comment went viral, Drake gave his long response.

Defending his music, he clapped back equally. “You have failed at music…a quitter give their opinion on how to achieve longevity…,” wrote Drake. This has left the rapping world in a state of shock. As news poured in, one can only hope for the dispute to die down peacefully and at the same time Smith would have his taken on this as well.
