The 3×3 Basketball format is gaining a lot of heat and witnessing several amazing plays. While the FIBA tournaments were already stacked with several scoring geniuses, the scene is exploding with ball-handling plays now. As the 3×3 format moved to Doha, a Serbian star pulled off a maneuver like a former Chicago Bulls player.

Strahinja Stojacic of Ub Huishan NE is one of the biggest names in 3×3 Basketball. The Serbian player recently malfunctioned an opponent’s mind with his deceitful ball handling and made him dance to his tune. In fact, the trick comes just a few days after USA’s Jimmer Fredette pulled off a similar play.

FIBA’s 3×3 Basketball is currently running its Doha Challenger iteration after the Amsterdam leg. Serbian squad Ub Huishan NE has established itself as one of the heavyweights and evergreen favorites in 3×3 Basketball.

Strahinja Stojacic plays a key role in maintaining the dominance of his club with his unmatched skills. Stojacic repeated his magic against the Japanese side of Utsunomiya in his latest match.

Following this, the official X handle of FIBA 3×3 Basketball posted a video of the 31-year-old making the Utsunomiya player dance. The tweet carried the caption, “Free dance class, by Dr. Strange.” The footage captured the Serb turning the court into a dancefloor as he tricked his opponent off balance.

He downed a perfect shot from downtown to give his team a two-point advantage. A similar feat was performed in the Amsterdam World Tour by former Chicago Bulls player, Jimmer Fredette. The Team Miami star sent a defender of rival team Vienna to a “Dancing with the Stars” audition with his foot and ballwork, and followed it with a devastating downtown dagger. Aptly named Dr Strange for his infinite versatility, Stojacic also led his team in points. In fact, despite being outscored by one of his opponents, the 31-year-old led his team to victory.

Dr Strange dominates opposition star as a team

Dr Strange Stojacic scored a total of 11 points to nick a close victory of 21-20 for his team. The Serbian was outscored by opponent Marko Milaković who put 12 points on the scoreboard for Utsunomiya but still faced a loss. The reason for this lies in the approach carried by Stojacic, who plays his matches with a team mindset.

The 31-year-old noticed that the team’s ace, Dejan Majstorovic wasn’t up to speed. Dr Strange quickly took charge and shared the helm with teammate Marko Brankovic to earn the win over the Japanese. The sharing of responsibilities also helped stay cool enough to almost mimic the move by the Chicago Bulls player.
