It’s a classic case of the underdog coming up trumps. That’s the story of the National Basketball Association (NBA) reject Quincy Diggs. He was rejected in the NBA drafts and has now resurfaced as a success elsewhere. The 33-year-old now represents the Kaposvári KK club in Hungary. The team plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A, the highest-level league in men’s basketball in the European country.
On October 7, Quincy Diggs was named the MVP (most valuable player) at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters 2023. Isn’t that a good thing for a basketball player not considered by the prestigious NBA of the United States of America?
