The 2022 Mr. Olympia was primarily distinctive since Brandon Curry was placed among the top 5 bodybuilders and finished ahead of the reigning champion, Big Ramy. Fans seemed pretty enraged at his loss and want to see him aiming for the ultimate title next year. However, the American bodybuilder garnered a lot of attention post the bodybuilding event. 

It was Curry’s recent social media post that drew reactions from his fans. Additionally, the post came with an insightful caption based on the recent Mr. Olympia event. Guess what his fans had to say?

Brandon Curry’s fans react to his physique

In an Instagram post, Curry was seen flexing his robust physique. According to the caption, the video displayed the last gym session prior to the event. Fans lit up the comments section with a range of reactions. Moved by the encouraging performance, former American bodybuilder Jay Cutler wrote, “You looked insane.” Another fan commented, “You should have won.” 

The 40-year-old star finished fourth and was among the topmost contenders in the 2022 Mr. Olympia competition. This was highlighted by the fact that he shocked fans by beating Mamdouh Elssbiay A.K.A. Big Ramy, who clinched the fifth position.

“You did it before you can do it again,” one follower wrote.

Looks like fans were not content with the ultimate decision. However, the reactions majorly consisted of encouraging comments. They suggested that Brandon should come back stronger next year.

There were also comments pointing fingers at the bodybuilder’s stage performance. While one fan said, “Once he fixes his legs and conditioning. The Olympia title is his,” another remarked, “Looks 10 weeks out.”

Brandon Curry will look to come back stronger

Curry mentioned in his caption that many didn’t expect him to even be among the top six bodybuilders. He revealed that some people were of the opinion that he wouldn’t stand in front of the reigning champion Big Ramy in terms of mass gain and size. With regard to the harsh competition, the preparation had to be untarnished.

The 2019 Mr. Olympia aimed to dethrone Big Ramy for the title. Though he actually beat Ramy, he couldn’t claim the title. He validated himself from the point of a spoiled brat to growing into a professional who knows the worth of sacrifice and determination. Unblemished with his loss, Curry aspires to bounce back bigger and stronger. 

In lieu of the intense battle among bodybuilders, it is surely not an easy bet to name the titleholder. This year Choopan shocked fans by snatching the title from the unbeaten Big Ramy.
