The social media update featured a resurfaced picture of the Hong Kong actor working out on a grip machine with a classic ‘Bruce Lee’ look. According to Bruce Lee: A Life by Matthew Polly, the action megastar never idled an opportunity to learn, be it from experts or his own pupils. Apparently, he never grasped the significance of bodybuilding until one of his critical duels. Hence, he even sought advice from his students.

“His students, James Yimm Lee and Allen Joe, were pioneers in the early era of bodybuilding,” the author revealed. However, Lee had a distinct purpose for employing iron pumping in his routines. “James and I were into heavy weight training… Bruce went with lighter weights with higher repetitions,” Allen Joe, Lee’s pupil disclosed, per sources.
