Martial arts legend, Bruce Lee’s iconic life served as the inspiration for an overwhelming list of biopics such as Bruce Lee: A Warrior’s Journey and Be Water. Several directors tried their hand at depicting or reiterating the magnificent story of The Dragon. By the same token, prominent filmmaker, Ang Lee has now taken up the project to create a new perspective on the idol’s life, per a Twitter post.
The 3x Academy Award winner intrigued fans with his recent interview with Discussing Film. He opened up about the array of possibilities he will be considering with the action scenes and the way they are performed. How do you think he’s going to portray it?

As per the sources, the 68-year-old filmmaker previously broke the rules by using a 120-frames-per-second element in his movies. Assuming to abide by the same, the interviewer asked him if he would incorporate the same in the actor’s biopic. In reply to that, Lee hinted at his motive for a new angle to the action segments. “I’m not going to with this movie. But I’m going to bring something new to the action and the way to do action. But no, I don’t break the frame rate this time that way,” he said.
Moreover, the Taiwanese professional added that he is intending to fracture the order of movie-making to bring out the essence of The Little Phoenix’s original life. Therefore, he disclosed, “I’m going to break some other rules though like Bruce Lee would do.”

Additionally, the mastermind also elucidated his point on the frame rate of the film. He admitted that with a 120-fps rate, it might be a bit demanding for viewers and the industry as a whole. Lee desired to maintain the “ecosystem” of the film domain. “Someday we’ll create something new, but not with this movie,” the director spoke on its fps rate. In another instance, he also opened up about the inspiration behind the new biopic.
