One such follower of Bruce Lee?s bequest is none other than Kyokushin champion, Michael Jai White.?

MJ White is a 55-year-old African-American martial artist and an actor who is recognized as one of the most prominent figures in the world of martial arts. In 2015, the actor once stated, “Bruce Lee would be no match for me” when it comes to fighting. However, White received backlash for his comment and later he penned an apology for his statement. Interestingly, White cleared the air around his comment and expressed his fascination for Bruce Lee’s martial arts finesse. Nonetheless, the Kyokushin fighter goes above and beyond to express his fascination with the Little Dragon?s commendable fighting style. Well, as his follower White once visited Lee?s tombstone to express his heartfelt eulogy. Now, as the picture of White from Lee?s headstone resurfaces, many from the martial arts fraternity started a debate while comparing Lee and White?s fighting prowess.

Recently, the Little Dragon?s fan page on Facebook shared a throwback picture of Michael Jai White when he visited Lee?s tombstone in Seattle. Interestingly, the photo dates back to 2018 when the 55-year-old shared the still on his social media handle. Captioning the Facebook post, Lee?s fan page wrote, ?Respect Legend Bruce Lee?.

Reacting to the post, many fans and martial arts enthusiasts drew parallels between both martial artists. They flocked to the comment section to express their respects to the Dragon as they penned?.

?You are a amazing fighter Michael but Bruce Lee was on another page when he was here. No disrespect but two different martial artist for sure!! Bruce is and always will be the G.O.A.T in martial arts!”

No disrespect Mr.White you are a great martial artist. But Bruce Lee was the greatest of all time. I truly believe a young Bruce Lee in his prime if he was alive today vs you in your prime. You will loose the battle against Bruce Lee. You are a skillful fighter but Bruce was a man fill with knowledge before his time. With great knowledge comes with great skills. Therefore knowledge out weights talent”
