Apart from being a martial art legend, an actor, and the founder of Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee was a master. A master to small children in China, to his wife Linda Cadwell, and to one of his successful pupils, Chuck Norris. Recently, the actor’s social media account published an image of him in action. The resurfaced image showed Lee teaching one of his students on stage. Taken in Seattle, in 1961, the photo called for the attention of his followers.
Fans wasted no time in commenting about the picture that took them down memory lane.?While some are thankful to have him as a guide, some fans regretted not knowing about his teaching acumen.

The Little Phoenix was 13 years old when he started learning the Chinese art of Wing Chun Gung-Fu. Eventually, this led to his development of coining a new form named Jeet Kune Do. From learning the basics as a teenager to teaching people of various ages, Lee came to know about the versatility of the sport. Recently, Lee’s Instagram handle posted a picture of him with the caption, “Bruce and his student, Jesse Glover, in 1961 in Seattle, Washington.” Evidently, the picture showed how focused and dedicated he can be while giving lessons.

This photo elated the fans, and they commented with heartfelt wishes. One such fan wrote, “I wish I existed in the era of Bruce Lee. Rest in peace my teacher and teacher”. In addition to this, another fan said, “wow lucky guy to have been taught by Bruce ? my sifu Steve dyde was very good he taught under Samuel kwok”. People also praised his method of transforming knowledge, saying, “Great master Bruce Lee”. Appreciating the duo, one fan penned, “Master and Apprentice”. Student Lee or Master Lee?
It’s not unknown to his followers that The Little Phoenix had IP Man as his master. They shared an interesting relationship together. While Lee felt a bit dissatisfied with the methods of his teacher, he did not turn back. Reportedly, IP Man wanted Lee to learn everything from scratch, while according to Lee, he already knew the basics of the sport. His master, however, had bigger plans for him and contributed his part in making Lee the godfather of MMA.
Lee did not sit on this knowledge. He opened his own schools where The Enter the Dragon star would take on pupils to transfer his wisdom to worthy apprentices.?The resurfaced image indeed brought back the emotions and respect that were always there among the fans. Do you remember him the same way?
