Jaycee Chan?s attempt to avenge his father

In the autobiographical book Never Grow Up, Jackie Chan penned down the most essential moments of his life. On a similar note, Chan disclosed that his son once kicked and thrashed his beloved cupboard in a fit of anger. Apparently, the actor had rebuked his son for some mischief. Later on, Jaycee got out in the middle of the night and thrashed the cupboard his father very dearly maintained. Chan said, ?I opened my door a crack to watch him, my light was out, so he couldn?t see me.?

?Suddenly, he dashed across the room and smacked the cupboard a few times. Bang, bang, bang! He looked at my door. No movement. Again: bang, bang, bang!?, the 68-year-old artist revealed. At that moment, Chan called on his wife and the duo enjoyed and laughed secretly at the scene.

Later on, Chan admitted that he reminisced the moment every time he glanced at the cupboard. He claimed that the antique possession was gifted to him by his godfather, Leonard Ho, and treasured antiques and tchotchkes in the piece of furniture. Nevertheless, the item gave him an even greater treasure that is probably more precious than the material ones.

Jackie Chan as the most strict father

Every father roots for the well-being of his son. Similarly, Chan wishes the same for his boy, Jaycee Chan. Although, the path taken to teach morals and values to Jaycee was quite unusual. In his book Never Grow Up, Chan once revealed that his son was terrified when his father gave him orders. ?He?s a big boy. He should take care of himself. Don?t live under my shadow?, Chan said.?

Moreover, Chan shared in an interview that he met his son vaguely, specifically, once in two years. As a consequence, the boy grew up distant from his father, which led to Chan?s decision of not letting his son inherit any of his wealth.?
