The Breeders’ Cup is all set and scheduled for intense racing on the 3rd and 4th of November. Now, as the entries are making their way to the grounds with inching championships, the Breeders’ Cup team caught up with Alex Bregam for a chat; not just about his interest in the field but about one of his equines contending in the Juvenile Turf Sprint. “Our family has always had a serious love for horse racing ever since I was a little kid,” Alex revealed in the interview. The MLB star further continued to talk about his competing equine, No Nay Mets, in the posted interview.

No Nay Mets is a 2-year-old colt who started his career in 2023. Though the decision to get the colt home was a spontaneous one, No Nay Mets has proven to be a solid competitor. In his 4 starts, the colt has raced at Ascot-GB,?Colonial Downs,?Gulfstream Park, and Monmouth Park with 1 place finish in the latter 3. Heading into the Breeders’ Cup, Alex hopes to get a 4-on-4 on American soil for the 2-year-old. This may be Alex’s first huge race, but the MLB icon definitely has some experience in the field.
