Home/Gymnastics

Both Olivia Dunne and her boyfriend Paul Skenes are having a good on-court time. The LSU Tigers’ gymnast earned the national gymnastics title a few weeks ago. With that, she has also dropped a large hint of staying in Baton Rouge for her fifth year as well. On the other hand, boyfriend Paul Skenes has earned up a prized ovation for being a pitcher, one of a kind. In his six-starts at Triple-A, Skenes has a 0.37 ERA. And in an astounding display, he has completed 89 pitches at 100-plus mph. With such a show-up, the 21-year-old is looking for his MLB debut. Paul might have Olivia Dunne as the spectator to such an occasion.

As the days passed by, Paul Skenes kept establishing himself as the next Stephen Strasburg or Gerrit Cole. But his extended Triple-A appearances took the test of the patience of Olivia Dunne and other Pittsburgh Pirates’ fans regarding his MLB debut. However, as per Pirates’ insider Noah Hiles, next week, Paul Skenes might get his MLB debut. So when asked about her probable appearance in Paul Skenes’ MLB debut game, Livvy heightened the interest by saying, “I hope so”. However, she added a few conditions to it.

In a further declaration, the 21-year-old LSU Tigers member said, “If it doesn’t interfere with my schedule, then yes. I do live kind of close in New Jersey on the East Coast, but yeah, I’ll definitely try to be there.” At present, Olivia Dunne is spending the gymnastics off-season. However, with a piling of work obligations, she hardly finds time to engage with other things. In her admittance, the national champion gymnast said that because of her busy gymnastics schedule in the purple leotard, she keeps the other things ready to be finished in her off-season. As she is going through such a season, staying by Skenes looks to be her top priority.

Olivia Dunne prefers to be Paul Skenes’ biggest fan

In the past, Livvy Dunne appeared in several key matches, cheering Paul Skenes’ achievement highly. Eventually, Paul’s success in Spring Breakout performances played an active role in moving him further to touch the comparisons he is enjoying presently. In those games, Olivia Dunne clapped at Paul virtually despite their geographical distance.

In the Spring Breakout contests this year, Paul Skenes faced his predecessor in the MLB Draft, Jackson Holliday. The anticipation reached higher as both the young guns entered the battle with their enviable forms. However, the Pittsburgh recruit earned the upper hand in the fight with his trademark three-pitch strikeouts. After witnessing such artistry with strength, Olivia Dunne remarked “slayed that”. Moreover, in Paul’s second-class AAA contests as well, Olivia Dunne marked her presence virtually.

In the match against Arkansas, Paul helped Indianapolis fly higher and go past the opposition. He recorded three 100+ mph speeds in that match. Moreover, one fastball came with a stunning speed of 101.3 mph! After watching such magic from her boyfriend on the field, the gymnast could only pen, gyatt” on her IG story. Now, in his ultimate game as well, Paul Skenes will want her to attend, either physically or virtually.
