As the latest update goes, Paul Skenes found himself in his first All-Star select as the MLB put his name into the National League roster for the upcoming July 16 game at Arlington, Texas. The achievement is certainly big as Paul made his major league debut just eight weeks ago and now he is in the All-Star team. However, the Pirates’ sensation’s list of achievements has become pretty long after finding a place in the MLB All-Star team. 

With that selection, he became the first player to be drafted with the No. 1 overall pick and named to the All-Star team in the first season. The proof was there in April when Paul Skenes was shedding sweat in Minor League Baseball, being the number 3 prospect. In one such match, Paul’s team Indianapolis Indians defeated the Memphis Redbirds by an 8-3 score, riding on his six strikeouts. However, later, the 22-year-old celebrated the victory with his IG share, displaying his moments from the match. The caption delivered the exact emotion as it said, “Don’t mix hot and cold”.
