Kristopher Lee Bryant, aka Kris Bryant, has been a trending topic all over the internet. Earlier on Wednesday, the former San Francisco Giants star signed a long-term deal with the Colorado Rockies. And that is something by which the baseball fans are still in shock.

Kris Bryant has been one of the top third basemen in Major League Baseball in the recent few years. And now, at the turning point of his career, going to the Rockies might not be the best decision for the star third baseman.
Notably, Kris Bryant is only 30 years old, and instead of choosing for a top MLB side, he signed a long-term contract with a mid-table team. As soon as the news broke out, many fans didn’t believe the deal.
MLB fans believe Kris Bryant’s seven-year deal with the Colorado Rockies doesn’t make any sense
Kris Bryant has been playing in Major League Baseball for over 7 years now. And after playing for teams like the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants, he signed a seven-year contract for a whopping $182 million with the Rockies. Which is more than what Freddie Freeman will be getting at his new team, the LA Dodgers.

Notably, a top player like Bryant going to the Rockies is more like doing injustice to his career. Had he chosen a top team such as the New York Yankees, Cubs, and even the Giants, it would have been far better than the Rockies deal.
Three hours later and I still have no idea why the Rockies signed Kris Bryant.
They exist in a division consisting of the Dodgers, Giants, and Padres!!!
Flabbergasting.

Genuine question that I have for Kris Bryant, why would you sign with the Rockies

Taking to Twitter, baseball fans couldn’t resist themselves but show their disappointment towards Bryant. Former MLB player Will Middlebrooks even asked Bryant why on earth would he go to the Rockies?
If you’re Kris Bryant, why on earth would you go to the Rockies? There is zero urgency to win. When you go to the park 162 times that gets old real quick.

While another user compared his deal with Freddie Freeman’s contract with the Dodgers and Matt Olson of the Atlanta Braves. Notably, as per the new contract, Bryant will earn the most among the three of them.
Dodgers are giving Freddie Freeman less than the Braves gave another first baseman and a lot less than the Rockies gave Kris Bryant. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

The Rockies signing: Kris Bryant to win maybe 5 more games
The Dodgers signing: Freddie Freeman to sweep every away series at coors

Another user hilariously trolled both the Rockies and Bryant and said that even after trying hard, he won’t be able to watch him play at the Colorado Rockies.
I’m trying as hard as I can but even Kris Bryant can’t get me excited to watch the Rockies
