Born on February 7, 2003, Jasson Dominguez is currently 19 years old and a prospect of the New York Yankees. Dominguez signed with the Yankees in the 2019 season, when he was just 16 years old. With his all-around playing ability, the Yankees consider him a five-tool-player. A player who can hit, cover the field, and is a good thrower. And apart from all these, he is also a good switch hitter.
Experts of the baseball game already consider him as a future Yankees’ center fielder. Dominguez’s fitness and body physique are so good that many also call him “El Marciano” (The Martian). However, it was not an easy task for the New York Yankees to get the future Mickey Mantle. During the 2019 season, the Yankees spent 95% of their bonus pool amount to get Dominguez by their side. The Yankees signed for a whopping $5.1 million.
