The New York Mets have an exciting line-up for 2022. And with their hitters all warming up in Spring Training, 2022 could be the year when they finally make the leap to a World Series contender. The Mets have seen a real step up this year; with pitching talents aplenty and the hitters finding their grove too, the New York Mets are the team to beat. And shortstop Francisco Lindor seemed to be making contact with just the right pitches.
The New York Mets took on the St. Louis Cardinals in a spring training encounter that saw Lindor hit two massive home runs. With the shortstop taking the home plate and batting both left and right-handed, he seemed to be hitting form just as Opening Day closes in for the Mets. Francisco Lindor homers twice in Spring Training Game
Speaking after the game Lindor appeared to be quite assured about how he was setting up. Said Lindor, “My body’s not in the same alignment from both sides but I mean my swing looks good.”

Speaking about his preparation so far and how he can look to get going throughout the session, it appears Lindor is ready. With his body in top shape, it is only about the response. Said Lindor, “my mind wants to do something and my body gets in line to execute.” Lindor added that it was more about allowing yourself the opportunity to succeed.

And he seemed pretty bullish about the New York Mets overall as well. With the lineup now starting to look dangerous, Lindor truly believes that the Mets can make something happen this season. “It’s a good offense. We’re gonna do some damage if we stay healthy,” added Lindor, “We can be fun.”
In concluding the interaction Lindor had to say some more faith to repose into Mets fans for 2022. Said Lindor, “We’re hitters. We’re gonna do whatever it takes to score runs.”
