Notably, the Yankees have failed to make any notable signing in the 2022 free agency. Instead, they have lost some of the key free agents to their rival teams. However, unlike baseball fans, Yankees manager Aaron Boone believes that they have a better team for the 2022 season.
Despite not making any big signings, the Yankees have performed exceptionally well in the spring training games. And based on that, Boone is confident to have a good roster for the upcoming season.

As of now, the league games will start on April 7, and if the Yankees do not re-sign Judge before opening day. Then he will also become a free agent at the end of the season.
