Carlos Correa has been the talk of the town for the past few days in Major League Baseball. From the New York Yankees to the Chicago Cubs, some of the top teams have Correa as their target to add him into their roster.

And, if the recent reports are true then, Carlos Correa’s farmer team Houston Astros are also back in the race to get his signature. 

However, there is nothing official regarding the star shortstop’s deal. But with the Astros coming back to the race, it will be a lot more difficult for the other teams to get him by their side.

Earlier the reports said that Correa and the Chicago Cubs are close for a deal. While the other day it was the New York Yankees, who were negotiating with Correa for his potential move to the Bronx. And amidst all these rumors, the baseball pundits did not even imagine that the Houston Astros will not let go of their marquee player so easily.

Bu as per the top MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Astros have geared up to bring Carlos Correa back. And this time the Astros owner Jim Crane is also involved in the deal.

Another MLB journalist, Mark Berman, also confirmed the Astros’ interest in the Correa deal. According to Berman, the Astros owner said they are in discussions with Correa. “Our team has reached out to his agent. We’re in discussions,” said the Astros owner.
