Notably, after a poor performance in the 2021 season, the Yankees didn’t have a good free agency too. However, Joey Gallo doesn’t seem to be affected by the current scenario of The Bronx Bombers.

New York Yankees slugger Joey Gallo fooling his teammates in the training session

A two-time All-Star with a pair of Gold Gloves on his resume, Joey Gallo has been playing for the Yankees since the last season. Recently, while training in the Bronx, Joey Gallo put on a mic and went on the field with the purpose of fooling his teammates. In the video posted by the Yankees, Gallo is trying to fool his teammates and especially the club veteran Aaron Judge.

In a three and half a minute video, he can be seen trying to interact with all of his teammates. And in the middle of that, he also smashed a home run while mic’d up.

Even the Yankees management is struggling to extend Aaron Judge’s contract. Notably, Judge is in the last year of his contract. And if the two parties do agree to the renewal, then Judge will be a free agent after the 2022 season. Now, with an average roster for the 2022 season, it’ll not be easy for the Yankees to compete with the heavyweights of the league.
