He hit the ball high in the Left Field to score a walk-off 3-run home run and sealed the game for the Twins. Buxton’s hit a 469-foot banger, which set a record for the longest walk-off home run in the MLB.

Buxton said, “You don’t know within yourself that you’re about to do it. But once I got in the batter’s box, that confidence took over and it got the job done.”

“Right now, there’s no better player in the world than him. I think he’s absolutely the best player in the world when he’s out there running around doing his thing,” stated Baldelli.
