In every sport in the world, there is always one such player whom people consider as the greatest. Just like them, baseball also has one such player Babe Ruth, and till now, probably no one has played baseball better than him.

Ruth has played over 20 seasons in Major League Baseball, and 15 of them he has played for the New York Yankees. And while playing for the Yankees, Bambino established his legendary identity.

However, very few people know that Ruth didn’t end his baseball career at Yankees, but at the Boston Braves (now Atlanta Braves).

Probably every baseball fan believes that Babe Ruth ended his illustrious career at the Yankees. But, no, Ruth started and ended his career at a Boston-based team in MLB. However, it is also true that he never played for the Red Sox after leaving the Yankees.

In 1935, when Ruth had already entered in final years of his playing career, he joined the Boston Braves and played the 1935 season for them. Notably, he had joined the Braves in the February month of 1935. And now, on the 87th anniversary of him joining the Braves, an old clip is going viral on the internet.

In the video, Ruth has been hitting a home run for the Boston Braves, that too when he was playing his last season in MLB. Notably, Ruth was one of the best hitters of the game, considering that many baseball fans also credit Babe Ruth for making baseball even more entertaining.

During his 22 years in MLB, the Yankees legend smashed a record 714 home runs. However, in later years, Barry Bonds and Henry Aaron broke his records. After making his MLB debut with the Boston Red Sox in 1914, Bambino bid retired with Boston Braves in the 1935 season.
