Just when the 2022 MLB season is about to start, the Astros scandal has become a talking point after a former Astros player admitted that their 2017 World Series title is tainted. However, a Boston Red Sox star has made a shocking claim on the same incident.
Notably, with the help of sign-stealing, the Houston Astros went on to win the World Series title in the 2017 season.

The Astros sign-stealing scandal has taken a new turn after the recent comments of the Red Sox pitcher, Chris Sale. The Houston Astros were found guilty of their cheating in the 2017 season. There is no question about it. But, the Red Sox pitcher thinks that the Astros weren’t the only team who used sign-stealing.

Chris Sale also expressed his opinions on the ongoing Astros scandal row. According to Fox Sports, Sale said, if the Astros were the only team then they should return their title back.

“If the Astros were the only team doing it, then yeah, give it back, take it back. I know for a fact they weren’t,” Cris Sale said.

Earlier in March, the New York Yankees general manager, Brian Cashman, blamed the Astros for the title drought in the Bronx. Notably, in the 2017 season, the Astros cruised past the Yankees in ALCS to win their World Series.

When talking about the Yankees, they are yet to win any world series title after their 2009 season. While teams like, LA Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, and even their arch-rivals, Boston Red Sox have managed to win the prestigious title.
