Notably, after signing him on a long-term contract, San Diego Padres was relying on Fernando Tatis Jr. for the 2022 season. But the star shortstop might have disappointed his franchise and the injury will also affect his baseball career.

Earlier in February 2021, the Padres signed Tatis on a 14-year long-term deal for a whopping $340 million. And proving them right, Tatis led the home run tally in the National League in 2021. However, Tatis might not be able to do the same for the Padres.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, Tatis suffered a motorcycle accident in December during the lockout. In which Tatis injured his knee and hand. But due to the lockout in MLB, Tatis and the Padres both weren’t able to detect the amount of damage. And now the Padres star has injured his left wrist.

As per Morosi, Tatis has said that apart from his motorcycle accident in December, he had an additional accident during baseball training. And with his wrist injury, the shortstop is all set to miss at least three months of the baseball.
