Moments after Tom Brady announced his retirement through his social media, the internet was up in a frenzy. Notably, MLB side Boston Red Sox shared a number of pictures of Tom Brady to congratulate him for his wonder 22 years in the NFL.
In one of the pictures, NFL icon Brady is with the Red Sox legend and the recent Hall of Fame inductee, David Ortiz. In which Brady and Ortiz are with their Super Bowl and World Series trophies, respectively. The Red Sox captioned the photo, “Congrats to the GOAT. Thanks for all that you brought to the sports world these last 22 years.”
Brady pays tribute to the sports world
The former Patriots quarterback shared the photo in his Instagram story and responded to the Red Sox fans by saying, “where it all started.”

Well, Brady’s love for the Red Sox is no surprise. During the 2018 season of MLB, he had backed the Boston Red Sox to win the World Series. And as he predicted, Boston red Sox went on to win their 9th World Series in the 2018 season.
Even during the 2015 season, the Red Sox had honored Brady by allowing him to throw the first pitch of the season at the Fenway Park.
