A-Rod was in the arena as the Minnesota Timberwolves orchestrated an upset in the NBA postseason. With a majority of pundits expecting the LA Clippers to make it through the Play-In Tournament as the 7th seed, the Timberwolves stepped in to say, not just yet. Despite star Karl-Anthony Towns falling behind on expectations, newer players stepped up to pick up the mantle.

Rodriguez seemed to truly enjoy the display by his players that was on show. “So proud of this team.”, wrote Rodriguez

The performance was truly inspirational as the team came from behind in the 4th quarter to snag a victory and send themselves to the postseason. “True heart, hustle and grit tonight all game long. A real TEAM win fueled by that incredible crowd,” he added.
