New York Yankees’ A-Rod wishes his ex-wife well

On this occasion of his ex-wife’s birthday, Rodriguez shared a series of pictures on Instagram, captioning it, “Today I am celebrating someone very special in my life.”

The post comprises 9 photos, including those of A-Rod with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, and with their two children, daughters Natasha, 17, and Ella, 13.

Rodriguez expressed gratitude and “eternal respect and admiration” for Cynthia, for her presence in their daughters’ lives, and concluded with wishing her a happy birthday.

The former MLB star also credited his ex-wife for making the co-parenting process really easy on him and the kids, stating that their time with the kids felt more like a “100-100” split rather than a “50-50” split.

“Living in close proximity and working together despite busy schedules has allowed both of us to remain integral and active in the development of two young women whose future is limitless. And I have you to thank in large part for that,” he added.
