Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is no more just a baseball player. With the former New York Yankees shortstop teeing up as a business mogul after his retirement, he has embraced the new in his life. He has even shifted sports to some degree and is now an NBA team owner as well.
Having purchased a minority stake in the Minnesota NBA and WNBA franchises, A-Rod is a regular courtside visitor to the Target Center. But it was who was with him that made the news as he made an appearance at the Timberwolves’ Play-In Tournament appearance against the LA Clippers.

A-Rod?split?with his former beau, popstar Jennifer Lopez, in 2021, and he has reportedly been concentrating on himself since. With no new relationships to report for the former World Series Champion, the same cannot be said for his counterpart.
After they split in early 2021, Jennifer Lopez was spotted with her ex-fianc? Ben Affleck as the two rekindled their romance. The two got engaged, and they announced it in early April 2022. Rodriguez, on the other hand, has not had any reported romances.

Sitting?courtside to watch his team take apart the LA Clippers in a 109-104 win, Rodriguez enjoyed the company of fitness competitor Kathryne Padgett for the night. She even posted a story with him at the Target center tagging the athlete in it. Could this be the newest story to hit the airwaves?
Rodriguez and Padgett have been spotted together as early as January when the two were at the Green Bay Packers’ divisional round against the 49ers. The two were in the stands together and sparked several rumors then too. However, A-Rod quickly dismissed these reports, saying that he was still on the market and ?enjoying life.?
This month though might have seen some changes. Rodriguez appeared to?take?photo credit for an Opening Day shot of Padgett at Oakland Coliseum. With all of it panning out on Instagram, Rodriguez not only commented on Padgett’s?post?but also took credit for it.
When asked by a fan in the comments if these were his photography skills, he replied,?“Yes.”

Rodriguez and his podcast co-host Michael Kay also joked around as Jennifer Lopez earlier announced her engagement to Ben Affleck. Commentating on the Yankees’ game to start the season, Kay said,?“The NBA playoffs are about to start. Baseball is in full swing. People getting engaged! It?s a happy time in the world.??Possibly intend it to be a dig at A-Rod.
Rodriguez, however, laughed it off and focused back up on the game. Could this be the effect of his new gal pal?
