The Peacemaker is here to stay! In a new show lineup airing on HBO, the DC Universe saw an expansion with the new show ‘Peacemaker’ out with its complete 1st season. And superstar shortstop, Carlos Correa, seems to be a fan. Played by John Cena and directed by James Gunn, the series is a spinoff from last year’s Suicide Squad.

Notably, with praise pouring in for the show from all quarters, Correa too was one of the well-wishers of the show. With the negotiations for his free agency in a stalemate because of the lockout, Correa seems to be kicking back on the recreation. Even taking to Twitter to react!

Carlos Correa breaks Twitter silence

Correa broke his Twitter silence to wish the show. “Absolutely brilliant!!” wrote Correa, as he thanked director, James Gunn, for the show, even tagging him in the tweet. “Looking forward to Season 2!”, he added, before signing off on the tweet.

And while Correa isn’t the most active Twitter user, his last use of the site came way back in December. He had retweeted a video of Chicagoans coming together to entice him to come to Wrigley Field. Cubs fans took to singing Christmas Carols with Correa’s name featured, in a bid to get the superstar to Chicago. However, it seems as though those attempts have since calmed down.

Several teams remain in contention for his signature.
