Several teams have expressed an interest in signing the 1st baseman to play for their franchise. With Freeman offering a specific skill set that is in short supply. Freeman is an experienced Major League player with tremendous defensive contribution and leadership. He also offers significant hitting capabilities; with his lefty stance and sheer ability to dispatch the ball out of the park.
Featuring on a line-up with AL MVP Runner-Up Vlad Guerrero Jr. is surely a unique opportunity for Freeman; and one that he won’t gloss over. The Blue Jays are also a very young side and could stand to advantage immensely from the experience that Freeman stands to bring.
