Marcus Stroman recently tweeted to his fans on Twitter, calling NBA Star Kyrie Irving a legend. Game recognizes game. And the Chicago Cubs pitcher seems to have marked Kyrie as a player he will be looking at.
Kyrie took the court as a Brooklyn Nets player, against the team that drafted him in the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 18th in a loss for his side. But his reputation of fan interactions did not disappoint.

Kyrie Irving recently transferred to play out of the Barclays Center but his sole championship comes from his time in Cleveland. And fans of the Cleveland franchise made their feelings known to him when he visited their home-court for the game. While Cleveland fans seemed to boo Kyrie, a specific courtside interaction seems to have lit up the internet.
Marcus Stroman reacts
Stroman took to Twitter to retweet a fan interaction with Irving. Captioning it, “KAI a legend,” Stroman seems to have made his opinion known.
KAI a legend. @KyrieIrving https://t.co/p22pypQgoy

The interaction sees Kyrie Irving repeatedly being called out by what can only be assumed is a Cleveland fan. Kyrie finally reacts to the interaction to say, “Got y’all a championship and motherf**kers still ungrateful.”
The fan responds by saying it was only one championship, but Kyrie seems to have walked off the interaction by that point.
Stroman might have some extra skin in the game when it comes to individuals named Kai as he welcomed his son into the world last month for him to be named Kai too.
Kai Zen Stroman. December 10th, 2021. 8lbs 2oz. 22 inches. Little legend is here. Time to be the best daddy in the world! 👼🏾

Stroman recently decided to contribute tickets to his fans on winning a contest for the Chicago Cubs and tweeted his approval for the same.
Love this. Can I throw in some tickets for the three winners as well? Need to see these shirts rocking in the stands. Winners will receive tickets to a game at Wrigley! 🗣🙌🏾 @Cubs @HDMHApparel https://t.co/bbsR7nh92O

He even took to Twitter to help the Cubs sign their No. 1 free agent prospect for the 2022 season, Carlos Correa. Claiming that while the lockout prevented owners from speaking to the players, nothing was stopping players from speaking to each other.
I’m on it. Lol

While Stroman will be looking at the fan interaction with Kyrie through some personal bias of being a sportsperson himself, it is at the end of the day a simple fan interaction. Fans will be tempestuous and fans will be impatient with players. And while fan attention may sometimes tend towards aggressive, perhaps we can appreciate the passion.
