Brian Snitker is currently 66 years old is also one of the older managers in Major League Baseball. It was during the 2016 season when the Braves signed him as their next manager on a five-year contract. Apart from games, Snitker loves to spend time with his family and grandkids.
Recently when Jeff Schultz of The Athletic asked how does he manage to spare time for his family; the Braves manager opened up about his retirement plans. He said that retirement scares him.

“Well, I guess I’m going three more years now since they picked up my option (for 2024). And it’s kind of like the retirement thing scares me this time of year. First, it was, are you ever going to recover from the World Series? But now I can feel my clock is starting to tick, and it pulls you toward the warm weather,” said the Atlanta Braves.
Notably, after winning the World Series in the last season, Braves extended Snitker’s contract for another few years until the 2024 season. After becoming the manager of the Atlanta Braves in 2016, Brian Snitker has won four consecutive National League East titles. In his second year with the Braves, Snitker also won National League Manager of the Year.

With three years still left in his contract, the Braves fans will hope their team can win more trophies with Snitker.
