Renowned Hollywood actors Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been engaged once again, after 17 years. Lopez confirmed the news on her private newsletter service for her fans, OnTheJLo.com, on April 8th, 2022. Jennifer Lopez was previously engaged to MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, popularly known as ‘Bennifer’, have confirmed their engagement. Lopez posted a video on her social media handles where she mentioned a surprise, which was indeed about their engagement. But this is not the first time the couple has been engaged. In 2002, Ben Affleck proposed to Jennifer Lopez with a 6-carat pink diamond ring. But, in 2004, their wedding was called off. And now, in 2022, to much delight for the Bennifer fans, they have engaged once again.

Ex-Girlfriend of Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez, announced the engagement news on social media

On April 8th, 2022, the former girlfriend of baseball star Alex Rodriguez confirmed that Lopez and Hollywood actor Ben Affleck have been engaged once again. Lopez and A-Rod were engaged from March 2019 to April 2021 as they decided that they were better off as friends. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have reunited after 17 years as Affleck proposed to her with a sparkling, green center stone ring.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were together for four years before announcing their split. According to Cosmopolitan, there were certain allegations, as there were rumors that Alex Rodriguez was getting “close” with television actor Madison LeCroy. So, in April 2021, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez officially called off their engagement.

The couple wrote, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
