The Wiffle ball is often considered as the baseball’s younger cousin, with it being played with similar rules but with slightly different equipment. The grip on the Wiffle ball and the weight of the bat on it is also something that gives the game such variety and novelty.

Types of pitches in Wiffle ball
The Wiffle ball league may be in its emergent phase still, but the deliveries to the home plate have seen some solid development. The mound for Wiffle ball is closer than a normal baseball diamond and allows lesser reaction time to any hitter. However, the deliveries also tend to be much slower than Major League Baseball and they usually end up canceling each other out as advantages.

The video features several pitches curving both inwards and outward from the batter’s stance, but they all have one thing in common. They seem to elude the hitter; leaving them without a clue of what was really going on in between them and the mound. The video features a laundry list of deliveries including several potentially routine baseball pitches too, like the screwball and the knuckleball.
However, the Wiffle ball’s unique tread also leads to some outrageous deliveries too, including the knuckle-drop, the slide drop, as well as the gypsy curve.
