MLB fans troll Joey Gallo over the MLB’s new rule to ban shift
The shift has been one of the most talked-about topics in the last few years in MLB. Even many players had complained about the shift, as they believe that the ability to hit a non-home run is very less. Now that the MLB and MLBPA have reportedly mutually agreed to ban the shift, Joey Gallo of the Yankees will be the happiest man.
Players union agreed to allow MLB to ban shifts, implement a pitch clock and make bases larger in 2023, subject to those agreements fitting into a total deal. Union also rejected Robo umps for ‘22/‘23. MLB goal: to be able to streamline the process and add excitement ti the game.
