Apart from Chicago Cubs, the New York Yankees, and even his former team, Houston Astros, wants to get Correa by their side. Talking about the Chicago Cubs, they are in desperate need of a shortstop for their roster. On the other hand, if the Astros will not let Correa leave so easily, they will also lose their starter.
However, amidst the strong interests from the Cubs, a former teammate of Correa has hinted that the Puerto Ricon shortstop might stay at his former team.
Will the Houston Astros resign free agent Carlos Correa?
Well, the answer to this question totally depends on Carlos Correa himself. Ever since making his debut in Major League Baseball in the 2015 season, Correa has played only for the Astros. However, after the 2021 season, Correa’s contract with the Astros expired. And since then the star shortstop has been a free agent.
