Major League baseball is currently on hold because of the ongoing owners’ lockout. But as soon as the MLB owners and players have an agreement on the new collective bargaining agreement, baseball fans will get to see the action of pitchers vs hitters on ballparks. And when it comes to New York Yankees star Aaron Judge, he always looks forward to facing the best pitchers in the league.

Notably, Aaron Judge has been arguably the biggest star for the Yankees in the last 5-6 years. And a pro player like him always looks forward to the toughest challenge while in the ballpark. Recently, Judge revealed the toughest pitchers he has faced in MLB.

While talking to the Yankees’ legend CC Sabathia and ace journalist Ryan Ruocco on their podcast, the Yankees’ right fielder revealed many secrets. While doing so, Judge also opened up about the toughest pitchers he has faced in his MLB career.

“I think back to 17 like just being a rookie. And a lot of guys that I’ve watched on TV. Now I’m stuffing in the box getting a chance to face them,” said Aaron Judge.

Judge said when he was a rookie, he used to watch a lot of players on TV. And now he gets to face them on the ballpark. He named Adam Wainwright of St. Louis Cardinals and Justin Verlander of the Houston Astros as the best pitchers he has faced in MLB.

“I remember we played the Cardinals that year and facing Wainwright and getting a chance to see that big curveball for the first time. Even facing in 17 You know, Verlander you know. I watched him do his thing with Detroit for so many years and he gets traded over to Houston, you know, pumping 97, 98,” Judge said.

“He’s got that presence on the mound and you look forward to those moments because you’re like, ‘I want to see how I stack up against some of the game’s greats.” He added.
