Seems like the LA Angels have finally found their perfect lineup for this season. Notably, the Angels did not start their season on a winning note, as they lost their opening day game against the Houston Astros. But thanks to players like Noah Syndergaard, Shohei Ohtani, and Mike Trout, they are back to the winning ways.

Currently, the Angels are on a winning streak, and the Angles manager Joe Maddon could not be more glad about the way his team is playing. First, Mike Trout hammered three home runs in a single game against the Rangers, then Shohei Ohtani also had a wonderful time with the bat. And now, the Angels ace, Noah Syndergaard, also shone on Saturday against the Rangers.

After Syndergaard aka Thor’s stunning display at the mound against the Rangers on Saturday, Maddon heaped some high praise on his star pitcher.

LA Angels manager Joe Maddon was in awe of Noah Syndergaard’s performance

Noah Syndergaard is playing his first season for the LA Angels, and he has been quite impressive for his new team. On Saturday, Syndergaard pitched six innings against the Texas Rangers. While pitching, he allowed just two runs on five hits and not a single walk. He also had four strikeouts in the game.

His incredible performance from the mound left the Angels’ manager in awe. After the game, Maddon praised his pitcher and said that he set a great example for the youngsters.

“Absolutely! I love the efficiencies,” Joe Maddon said to Bally Sports West. “All these pitches found in the strikes on getting ahead of hitters and getting weak contact commanded what he’s doing out there. It’s beautiful to watch, it is… He set a great example for the rest of my youngsters…”

Not only Syndergaard, but even Shohei Ohtani also had a brilliant game on the plate. After hitting two home runs on Friday, he smashed another one against the Rangers on Saturday. The LA Angels defeated the Texas Rangers by 7-2.
