

It’s been just a day since the regular season of MLB started. And right from day one of the new season, the controversies among the players have sparked the league. Recently, Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves opened up about his relationship with the former Braves star, Freddie Freeman.

Notably, the two have spent over four years together while playing for the Atlanta Braves. But after Freeman’s recent move to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Acuna said that he had lots of clashes with Freddie Freeman.
However, a recent report suggests that Acuna’s words were exaggerated. And he didn’t mean to say anything bad about Freeman.

Freddie Freeman, along with Ronald Acuna Jr. was a hell of a batting duo for the Atlanta Braves. While playing together at the Braves, no one spoke ill about anyone. And still, the two respect each other very much.

Earlier on Tuesday, during an Instagram live, Acuna had said that he would miss nothing about Freeman and he had lots of clashes with him at the Braves. But, later he clarified his comment made on Freeman and said the reporters exaggerated his words.

“I think the reporters exaggerated,” Ronald Acuna Jr. said. “I didn’t say anything bad about Freeman, I talked about what happened in 2018 when I was a rookie. The rest was blown out of proportion…”

Speaking to MLB.com, the Braves outfielder also confirmed that the 2018 incident is now a past for him. And he is only focused on his recovery and playing again in the ballpark.
“A lot of people look at it as wrong and I don’t look at it as wrong because it’s part of the game. It’s over. It’s in the past. All I’m focused on is recovering and getting back to The Show,” added Acuna.

Notably, in his rookie year in the 2018 season, Freeman, along with other senior players, had wiped the eye black off his face.
