When the free agency started in MLB, no one would have imagined that someone like Carlos Correa would end up at the Minnesota Twins. But, that’s what happened the last night. Minnesota Twins signed free-agent shortstop Carlos Correa on a three-year deal.

With this Correa’s deal with the Twins, probably every single prediction regarding Correa’s next contract has been proved wrong. Because at the start of the free agency, the Chicago Cubs and New yok Yankees were the frontrunners. However, Correa has stunned everyone with his decision to choose the Twins as his next home for a possible few years.
On the other hand, teams like the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs must be in shock. Because they were after Correa since the lockout.

When MLB insider Mark Berman informed the Correa’s deal, probably no one believed it. But after a few minutes, other reports said the same. And that was something that fans were expecting in this free agency.
