Marcus Stroman has been known to be vocal on Twitter. On yet another occasion of Stroman making his opinion public about his former manager, the Chicago Cubs pitcher has taken a shot at his GM on the New York Mets, Billy Eppler. Expressing some pretty open opinions on the subject, Stroman set out a tweet to call out the newly appointed Mets Manager on the micro-blogging site.
Marcus Stroman featured on the Mets until the 2021 season before announcing a switch to the Windy City in December just prior to the lockout. Stroman will be pitching for the Cubs in 2022 from the mound on Wrigley Field and he seems to be happier for it.

Marcus Stroman speaks out about Billy Eppler
Stroman was reportedly quite unhappy with the New York Mets GM and has made it known from his own account. The pitcher spent some time on the mound at Citi Field after his move from the Toronto Blue Jays in 2019; and although he recorded some great numbers, Stroman was unable to get the team pulling in the right direction while there.
His dissatisfaction with the front office, though this was amply clear of his tweet.

Stroman spent 2 seasons at the New York Mets in 2019 and 2021 and seems to be quite unhappy with the progress he made with the team. Reportedly, he even called out the manager for a “lack of awareness in his previous position,” possibly referring to Eppler’s stint with the LA Angels.
Stroman has expressed his unhappiness with the New York Mets front office previously too; speaking about his teammate Michael Conforto, Stroman has expressed some strong opinions.

Stroman’s top moment for the Cubs, however, has only been online. The league has been in a lockout since the day of his transfer and Stroman has not sported the Cubs jersey yet, but the pitcher is clearly excited by the prospect of taking the mound at Wrigley Field.
Chicago has always been one of my favorite cities. Culture and passion everywhere. Beyond excited to pitch in front one of the best fan bases in all of sports. Thank you to everyone in the city for the warm welcome. I can feel it. Let’s get to work! @Cubs
