The lockout in Major League Baseball has been frustrating for not only the fans but also the MLB players. However, baseball players have found different ways to entertain themselves and also the fans. 

And the Chicago Cubs star Marcus Stroman will top everyone when it comes to social media banter. Recently, the Cubs pitcher went on to troll the former swimmer and Olympics legend Michael Phelps over his new look.

Recently, Kyle Porter of CBS Network posted a picture of Michael Phelps on his Twitter. People started to troll the Olympics legend for his new look. Notably, with his new look, Phelps is looking more like a baseball relief pitcher from the old times.

“Michael Phelps has slowly morphed into a left-handed reliever from the mid-80s, who tops out at 79 but nobody can square up because his arsenal includes nine other pitches,” wrote Kyle Porter.

Responding to this tweet, the Cubs pitcher also took to his Twitter and trolled the legendary swimmer for his new look. He tweeted, “This is so accurate. Lmao.”

 

Stroman trolled MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred

Well, Phelps is not the first victim of Stroman. Earlier this week, Stroman’s victim was none other than MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. When the Cubs star took a dig at Manfred over the current scenario in Major League Baseball. The situation in MLB was pretty tense between the owners and the players’ association. And players were definitely not glad about the approaches from Rob Manfred and MLB owners.

Stroman took to his Twitter and while trolling Manfred, he didn’t hold one bit with his criticism. Stroman blasted over Manfred and referred to him as “Manclown” and asked him to stop ruining the game.

“Manclown and his boys need to figure it out and stop ruining the game of baseball,” tweeted Stroman.

Major League Baseball is still in lockout. And even after 10 weeks of the lockout, the owners and players have not reached an agreement. If the two parties do not find the solution for the new CBA deal at the earliest, then not only spring training but also the league games are in danger.
